From May 25th 2022:
Oooof, I feel rough today. As was totally predictable, my health is now paying the price for my big day out wedding dress shopping yesterday. I feel utterly hungover – except minus the alcohol, and utterly exhausted – except minus much physical activity. Just a foggy combination of nauseous, poisoned and sleep deprived, with the energy of a slug. And this feeling could last for days. I obviously live in hope that it won’t though. Fingers crossed.
And this is the nature of M.E and POTS. You do a ‘thing’, and then pay for it – with your health.
That all said – the ‘thing’ I did yesterday was SO worth it. It was a milestone moment, and my dress is soooooo pretty!! So as far as I’m concerned, it’s still a win. Yay wedding dress!!
