Navigating friendships with chronic illness can really suck balls. You don’t want to seem flaky and unreliable, and they want concrete plans to look forward to without you cancelling on them. It’s an ongoing challenge, requiring flexibility and understanding on both parts. Here, I discuss what I’ve learned so far.
