What happens when you have ME/POTS and your all-time favourite band comes to town? A band you’ve waited THIRTY YEARS to see!

There’s so much to consider – especially when your health makes standing for long periods impossible, you suffer from sensory overload, and you might not even be well enough to get there on the day at all. But it’s your FAVOURITE band and you HAVE to see them!

This is what I told Pete recently, after he enquired about my recent doctor’s appointment to discuss if I might be perimenopausal and if it’s worth trying HRT.

A bit more about me

Hello my lovelies and welcome new subscribers!! I realised that I haven’t introduced myself properly in a very long time – and although you can read about me in the aptly named ‘About Me’ section of the website, I thought it might still be nice to give a little wave and tell you a bit more about myself here too.

What I Forgot to Say

Newly diagnosed with ME? I covered a lot of the main ‘must know’ points in my last post – however, as I lay in bed on Saturday afternoon, feeling all the ‘feels’ after letting a friend down because I wasn’t well enough to meet – I realised a few points I hadn’t mentioned.

Mega-swoons and ME

“It’s really good after all these years and everything we’ve been through, that we can still vaguely enjoy each other’s company.” ~ Pete.

Now, these are definitely not the most romantic utterings I’ve ever heard. However, with ME/POTS hanging around like a bad smell all the time, I’ve come to realise that ‘vaguely enjoying each other’s company’ is actually something to be celebrated. Read on to find out why.
